ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has rejected review petitions of Defence Ministry and IB during hearing of review petitions against decision of Faizabad Dharna case. Petitions were dismissed being withdrawn.

Court while rejecting fact finding committee of government proposed to constitute inquiry committee to hold responsible in Faizabad Dharna case.

Attorney General assured to inform court within two days on constitution of inquiry commission.

Court rejected implementation report of Election Commission regarding action against Tehreek-e-Labaik. SC has said in its order Absar Alam leveled allegations against some persons. If government constitutes some commission then all allegations be put up before commission.

Absar Alam has said he will record statement before commission openly. A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa took up case for hearing.
