SC moved for live telecast proceedings of presidential reference to revisit Zulfikar Ali Bhutto murder case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday filed petition in Supreme Court (SC) to live telecast proceedings of the presidential reference for revisiting former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's murder case.
Farooq H Naik, counsel for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari filed the petition.
it was said in the petition that presidential reference was filed by his father former president Asif Ali Zardari. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto case is fixed for hearing on Tuesday December 12.
A nine-member larger bench of the SC headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) will hear the reference.
The larger bench will consist of Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Musarrat Hilali.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari had filed presidential reference in April 2011 in SC.
PPP leader Faisal Karim Kundi had demanded for live telecast of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto presidential reference proceedings during press conference a day before.
