SC directs HEC to complete certificate verification process of PIA pilots

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has directed Higher Education Commission (HEC) to verify certificates of PIA pilots soon. A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan took up case for hearing yesterday. Counsel for PIA told court certificates of all pilots of PIA were sent to HEC in 2020 for verification.

Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan inquired from counsel for HEC where process of verification of certificates of pilots PIA has reached. Counsel for HEC Nazir Jawad told court process for verification of certificates of PIA pilots is underway. Court while giving order to HEC for completing process of verification of certificates of PIT pilots soon adjourned hearing of case till next month.
