KARACHI: The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) is gravely concerned about the recent surge in false information circulating through various fake media channels, targeting the reputation of the SBCA, its officials, and management.
It has come to our attention that certain individuals and fake media organizations or newspapers have been disseminating unfounded and baseless allegations against the SBCA without providing any substantiated proof. These you tubers and the un-authorized newspapers flashing the photos of the officers/officials on personal group and to make them black mailing. The SBCA strongly condemns such actions, as they not only undermine the authority’s credibility but also create unnecessary panic and confusion among the public.
The SBCA, as the regulatory body responsible for overseeing building control and development in Sindh, emphasizes its commitment to transparency, accountability, and adherence to legal procedures. Any claims made without concrete evidence not only harm the SBCA’s reputation but also hinder its ability to effectively serve the public. In response to these false allegations, the SBCA asserts its right to take legal action against any organization or individual found guilty of spreading misleading information without proper verification. The authority encourages responsible journalism and urges media outlets to verify information before publishing or broadcasting it to ensure accuracy and avoid unintentional harm.
The SBCA values the trust placed in its ability to regulate and facilitate responsible urban development. It remains dedicated to fostering open communication with the public and encourages individuals with genuine concerns to approach the authority directly through official channels.
The SBCA remains committed to its mission of ensuring safe and sustainable building practices in Sindh. The authority urges the public to remain vigilant against false information and to rely on verified sources for accurate updates.
