SBC launching event for women empowerment held at Habitt Auditorium

Karachi: Popular Group of Industries is committed supporting woman empowerment. Initiatives such as dynamic business networking programme for woman entrepreneur's, professionals, leaders, trailblazers across Pakistan and globally are hallmark, Syed Hammad Hussain Group Head Marketing, Brand Management said.
During launching event of Sparks Business Club (SBC) team informed attendees of commercial advantages at their presentation. Chief Guest Kaukab Iqbal Founder Chairman Consumer Association of Pakistan and Guest of Honor Razzak Pardesi Founder Director Marks Schooling System praised founder Syeda Raafia Mamujee. Raafia Mamujee thanked Popular Group for their endless support and trust besides Razzak Pardesi.
She stressed gender equality and woman empowerment are extremely essential for achieving inclusive and sustainable society and economic growth. It is of crucial importance that we continue our dialogue, follow up on our commitments, building momentum towards our endeavours in supporting woman entrepreneurs. Constitution provides equal opportunities without discrimination, having zero tolerance to any type of intimidation, optimising individual capabilities creating business opportunities for woman entrepreneurs. Pakistan protects female from all forms of gender based violence. Director International Business Development and Finance A. Mamujee said empowering women is top priority. Strategy for women empowerment set several goals, notably economic empowerment. Promoting financial inclusion and participation in labour force through SME's should be main target in Pakistan.
SBC can provide enormous opportunities within Pakistan and internationally, in house knowhow spearheading programmes to understand legal avenues made available to women entrepreneurs enabling them to realise their full potential and economic benefits of an equal society. SBC is socially responsible and sustainable organization. Providing support, guide lines of rules and regulations, registration of SME's in FBR.
SBC is now on track to provide and groom women owned SME's by giving them options to promote Made in Pakistan products locally and in International arena. More women should take part in main stream businesses as they have to succeed in business world via SBC providing them much needed platform. Club announced upcoming project 'My Pride My Dignity' collaborated with Ali Al Balushi. Nagma Aqeel General Secretary SBC said importance of an non-discriminative working enrolment for woman with an sneak preview video presentation of 'My Pride My Dignity' based on 'Body Shaming'. Executive team members were introduced to audience. Founder members Aiman Sami Khan, Dr. Tasneem Kausar and senior executive members Afsheen Asif, Nadia M Khan, Naheed Khan, Nausheen Barkat, Rima Aziz, Saba Zuberi, Shafaq Alam, Shaina Suhail, Sumaira Imran, Yusra Razi and Zehra Bukahari along with media team Syed Turab Shah, Rafiq Vayani, Ali Al Balushi, Zahid Karani and Javed Iqbal besides Brand Ambassadors Isra Waseem and Kainat Arif in attendance.
