Saylani starts showcasing mass IT training programme to global tech experts

Karachi: Saylani Welfare International Trust initiated process of showcasing its mass IT education programme to top tech companies, investors and Information Technology experts in other countries.
Top-level delegation from Saylani Welfare Trust in this connection recently visited Riyadh and attended top tech event, LEAP held there to explore prospect of massive number of IT experts soon required by Saudi Arabia from abroad.
Saylani Welfare delegation firsthand witnessed rollout of ‘Vision-2022-23’ for setting up IT cities in Saudi Arabia. LEAP event was held as part of same Saudi vision. Saylani delegation held meetings with representatives of top tech companies including Zoom, Saudi Digital Academy, Coursera, UAE Blockchain and OpenAI. Meetings were held to explore employment opportunities in Saudi Arabia for Pakistani tech experts and graduates of the Mass IT Training Programme of Saylani.
Saylani Welfare’s delegation from Karachi comprised non-profit’s Chief Executive Officer Madni Raza, Adviser to Saylani’s Chairman Amjad Chamdia and Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Ghazzal.
Upon their return to Pakistan, delegation members informed Saylani Welfare’s Chairman and founder Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri, that LEAP conference was attended by massive number of IT and tech experts from all over world.
They informed Saylani’s founder that several top global tech companies had shown keen interest in investing in proposed IT cities to be set up in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia in coming few years will employ large number of IT experts and technicians, they said. They said that graduates of Saylani’s mass IT training initiative would prove to be valuable asset to mass tech initiatives being launched in Saudi Arabia.
Representatives of top tech companies Coursera and OpenAI appreciated mass IT training initiative while terming it step in accordance with requirements of present-day world.
Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri appreciated that top-level delegation from Saylani attended LEAP conference in Saudi Arabia and held meetings with top IT experts from other countries. He said that such interactions would go long way to benefit highly skilled Pakistani youth who are an asset to country.
He said that his non-profit had fully realised importance of IT field many years back as vision of Saylani stood for massive increase in tech exports of Pakistan. Meanwhile, Saylani’s delegation also met in Riyadh with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and briefed him about IT learning programme of non-profit.
