Saylani Chief praises interim govt’s initiatives towards reforms

Karachi: Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri founder Chairman of Saylani Welfare International Trust thanked interim government for taking important steps for public interest. He said that caretaker government has taken care of national economy in last few months. Positive progress has been made in some sectors during this period. Measures taken like establishment of slaughterhouses for meat exports, increasing production of wheat, grains, soybean oil can bring country out of economic crisis.

He welcomed statement of caretaker Minister of Commerce Gauhar Ijaz, in which it said Pakistan’s exports will increase to 3 billion dollars per month very soon. Exports will increase by 22 percent compared to December 2020.  He called caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar’s statement based on reality that dream of development cannot be realised without laying network of roads. Especially in expected areas with foreign investment and in Balochistan. Network of roads can make wheel of development turn faster.

He said that reduction in price of crude oil by 4 percent in global market is good news. It is hoped that caretaker government will provide relief to people by significantly reducing prices of petroleum products on January 15. He expressed economists will make such long-term policy that value of dollar continues to decrease. He said that in 2023, status of Pakistani currency in world market will be about with 25 percent reduction, Pakistanis are facing catastrophic inflation.

Basic foods like eggs and milk are not within reach of people. Maulana Bashir congratulated caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed on recent Hajj agreement with Saudi Arabia in which he foresaw hardships of Pakistani pilgrims.
