Saudi Minister, PM Kakar discuss bilateral ties

Islamabad: Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called on Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar.

Saudi Minister is leading high-level delegation with members from Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Saudi Civil Aviation Authority, Communication, Tourism, etc.

Prime Minister welcoming delegation expressed satisfaction on positive trajectory of bilateral relations with Kingdom. He lauded vision of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and said Pakistan would always remain trusted partner of Saudi Arabia.  Prime Minister thanked Saudi leadership for making excellent arrangements for Hujjaj from all over world during this year’s Hajj season, particularly for Pakistani pilgrims. He expressed hope that Pakistani Hajj and Umrah pilgrims would continue to receive special treatment from Saudi side.

Prime Minister thanked Saudi Arabia for its serious interest in investment opportunities in Pakistan under Special Investment Facilitation Council.

 Visit is first by Minister of Hajj and Umrah to Pakistan. Saudi Minister thanked Prime Minister for warm hospitality extended to him and members of his delegation. He said Saudi Arabia would extend all possible facilitation to Pakistani pilgrims. He said in addition to religious visits, delegation would also try to promote Saudi tourism to Pakistan.
