Jeddah: AlBaik Food System Company-popular Saudi food chain is expected to make its debut in Pakistan as memorandum of understanding has been signed between company and Gas and Oil Pakistan Ltd (Go) under Saudi Ministry of Investment.

Jeddah-based food chain’s broasted chicken, fries, delicious nuggets and myriad of sauces are very popular among people. Most of Pakistani expatriates believe that visit to Saudi Arabia is incomplete without this delicious chicken. Reflecting Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance exports of rich national expertise and open new horizons for Saudi commercial expansion globally, this agreement would explore possibility of establishing strategic partnership to set up and operate Al Baik restaurants in Pakistan, marking key step in Al Baik’s expansion strategy across country. Signing ceremony was held under patronage of Saudi Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid Al-Falih and high-ranking delegations from both Saudi and Pakistani sides in attendance.

Go, in which Saudi Aramco has acquired 40 percent stake, is leading player in Pakistan’s oil and gas sector. This initiative highlights crucial role played by Saudi Ministry of Investment in realising objectives of Vision 2030 and reinforcing kingdom’s position as leading economic force both regionally and globally.
