Sattar, Kamal meet Gov Tessori, discuss load shedding, other key issues

KARACHI: Senior leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Central Committee including Dr. Farooq Sattar, Syed Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani met with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at Governor House.

Meeting covered several key issues, including federal cooperation in ongoing development projects in Karachi, challenges faced by traders, unscheduled load shedding and complaints of overbilling.

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan emphasised federal government's full support for development of Karachi. He highlighted urgent need for prioritising infrastructure restoration and development. Additionally, Tessori assured MQM leaders that he would address issues of unscheduled load shedding and overbilling with K-Electric authorities.

Dr. Farooq Sattar pointed out that lack of basic facilities in Karachi is causing significant hardship for public. Syed Mustafa Kamal echoed concerns about increasing complaints of unscheduled load shedding and overbilling.
