SAPM Irfan Qadir steps down

ISLAMABAD: Senior lawyer Irfan Qadir resigned as Special Assistant of Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior (SAPM), sources informed. According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accepted resignation of Irfan Qadir.

Prime Minister had earlier appointed Irfan Qadir as Special Assistant of Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior. Earlier, Barrister Shehzad Elahi resigned as Attorney General of Pakistan.

Shehzad Elahi’s resignation comes nearly seven weeks after his appointment was confirmed by President Arif Alvi on February 2.
