Sanaullah wants political differences with Imran to not end in enmity

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that despite having political differences with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, his party did not want enmity with latter.

Addressing press conference,  Sanaullah expressed his thoughts over elections, adding that it was up to Election Commission of Pakistan to hold elections in country.

He said that on suggestion of Pakistan Democratic Movement Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, meeting of PDM was about to commence. Berating political opponents, Sanaullah said first it was told PTI Chairman Imran Khan was not present in Zaman Park. But, Khan delivered speech to Zaman Park. He added that police went to Zaman Park to apprise Khan of court’s order.

He claimed Khan made fabricated receipt in connection with matter of Toshakhana. Minister added Khan had to be answerable to court in this regard. Sanaullah said, “I do not want to level an allegation of my assassination on Imran Khan. I am not in favour of levelling such allegations. Imran should also refrain from making such allegations.

Speaking about terrorism, Sanaullah vowed to end menace of terrorism. He assured Balochistan government that centre was standing by province. Security institutions will be provided with all resources. In connection with Sibi incident, Sanaullah said federal government was in contact with provincial governments and state institutions.
