LAHORE: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that PTI cannot resist Constitution no matter whatever it does. “It is written in Constitution that if Chief Minister does not seek vote of confidence he will not remain Chief Minister. It is will of Governor he can say to seek vote of confidence any time. We know their number game is not complete. If it is complete then they should seek vote of confidence, he said.

Talking to media men here he stated that Hamza Shehbaz is consensus candidate for post of Chief Minister.

He said it is not in his knowledge that any talks are underway with CM Pervez Elahi. If it is confirmed that he is not seeking vote of confidence then Governor Punjab will issue new notification.

Rana Sana said if they take unconstitutional step then government can impose Governor Rule. If Governor Rule is slapped, its period will be for six months.

He underlined Imran Khan is pursuing an anti-state agenda. Imran Khan and his workers have reached peak of deviation. They are crying for dissolution of assemblies since one month. In this situation it is right of Governor to exercise its powers.

Basic agenda of Imran Khan is only this that country should be made bankrupt. Except Imran Khan, establishment, judiciary, politicians and nation want it that there should be stability in country.
