Karachi: Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh, Chairman of Saddar Town, has said that with the change of weather, the incidents of fire have increased in different places of the city, while due to the incomplete arrangement of fire extinguishing in houses, markets, and warehouses, there is a fear of more life and financial losses in the event of a fire incident. If the people and every institute properly monitor the electrical installations and electrical equipment in their homes, shops, factories, markets and warehouses, then such accidents can be avoided.

Chairman Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh further said that the fires that broke out in different places of the city in recent days were brought under control due to the measures taken by the fire brigade department, but many people lost their lives in these incidents.

The Saddar town is the commercial hub of the city where it is very important to have all safety measures to avoid short circuits and fires. To avoid accidents, effective fire extinguishing equipment should also be installed.

In this regard, the replacement of old electrical wiring and the presence of fire cylinders can prevent possible damage.

It is the responsibility of the relevant institutions to take immediate action and take practical steps to prevent such incidents.
