KARACHI: Team Karachi Welfare Society, with the support of Hamdard Pakistan, provided dowry items for the marriages of 100 girls from low-income families.

A special event was recently held in a local hall in Karachi, where Sadia Rashid, President of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, attended as chief guest and distributed goods to the needy. She was accompanied by Hamdard Pakistan’s COO Faisal Nadeem, Group Director of HR Abu Talib Bhutto, and Director of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan Syed Muhammad Arsalan. In her speech, Sadia Rashid emphasized the importance of compassion and understanding the struggles of our neighbors and relatives. Syed Muhammad Arsalan highlighted that Hamdard Pakistan is fundamentally a welfare organization dedicated to serving the community, supporting both charitable initiatives and institutions like Team Pakistan. Representing Team Karachi, President Saqib Zeeshan, Vice President Zeeshan Alrab Jafri, Board Member Mahmood Arshad, and Board Member Mufti Shakir Siddiqui were present as hosts. The dowry items, fully supported by Hamdard Pakistan, included dinner sets, bath sets, buckets, cooler jug glass sets, juicer machines, irons, graters, frying pans, tray sets, kitchen sets, steel thermoses, water sets, spice racks, tea sets, strainers, sets of pots, sewing machines, washing machines, pedestal fans, and three dresses for the bride, including cash.
