Sacrifices of tribal people for country not hidden from anyone: Gov KP

PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali said that sacrifices of tribal people for country and nation are not hidden from anyone. Safety of nation is our responsibility, everyone has to play joint role in development and prosperity of country, federal and provincial governments are taking comprehensive measures to end deprivations of merged districts and very soon tribal areas will be brought on par with other developed areas of province.

In meeting with 60-member delegation of Baizai Hassan Khel’s elders, elders and youth under leadership of Amanullah Mohmand from Mohmand District, he appreciated efforts and sacrifices of tribal people for peace and stability in country. He emphasised that state and state institutions must be supported and we all must play our role to maintain peace and law and order and especially leaders have responsibility that they should play their role in best way for elimination of hatreds and promotion of love and brotherhood.

Peace is indispensable for development and prosperity of any society, we all have to play our role to protect country and establish peace and order, Governor said.

Tribal delegation thanked Governor for listening to problems and ensuring their solution and asked Governor to follow tribal traditions. Mayor Peshawar Haji Zubair Ali was also present.

Malik Muhammad Hasan, Abdul Wadud Mohmand, Muhammad Nabi, Sheikh Fazl Hameed, Malik Mir Salam and Qari Muhammad Ishaq among participants.
