SA pays tribute to SMBB on her 71st birth anniversary

KARACHI: Sindh Assembly session honoured 71st birth anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, unanimously passing resolution that lauded her enduring legacy and contributions to Pakistan.

Led by Nisar Khuhro President of Peoples’ Party Sindh, Assembly members came together in show of unity to commemorate life and achievements of former Prime Minister. Resolution highlighted Benazir Bhutto’s pivotal role as champion of democracy and women’s empowerment in Pakistan.  It underscored her unwavering commitment to national progress and her resilience in face of adversity. Members of Assembly praised her courage and leadership, recalling her steadfast resolve during challenging times in Pakistan’s history. Addressing Assembly, Nisar Khuhro emphasised Benazir Bhutto’s enduring impact on Pakistan’s political landscape and her unwavering dedication to upholding democratic values.  He recalled her sacrifices and challenges she overcame, noting that her legacy continues to inspire generations.

Resolution, once presented by Khuhro, received unanimous approval from Assembly, symbolising their collective respect and admiration for Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto
