Karachi: Memorable event was held at Saint Joseph College to celebrate Russian Flag Day. Programme was organised by Russian House with corporation of St Joseph College for Women.

Celebration began with an open speech about Russia and Pakistan’s relationship by Dr Asgar Dasti then Natalia, who shared insights into Russian flag, its history and significance of Russian-Pakistani friendship. Michael showcased beauty of Russia, highlighting its notable places and strong relationship between two countries’ prime ministers.

Fariha Aqib did quiz competition followed, where students were asked questions about Russia and its flag and Pakistani Flag Winners were awarded gifts.

Str D r Elizabeth expressed her gratitude to guests for celebrating this special day with College and its students.

Event concluded with cake cutting ceremony and distribution of lunch boxes to students. Celebration was testament to strong bond between Russia and Pakistan and importance of cultural exchange programmes.”
