Russian envoy, Gov Tessori discuss eco, investment

Karachi: Consul General of Russia Andrey Federov met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. Bilateral trade and economic relations, investment opportunities in Sindh province, relief measures for flood victims, exchanges of trade delegations and other matters of mutual interest were discussed. Governor said that Pakistan-Russia relations are becoming more stable with passage of time. He said that investment of Russia will increase employment opportunities in province, in this regard, they are willing to increase trade with Russia. Consul General said that Russian investors are interested in investing in province.
Meanwhile, Governor said that officers have got opportunity to serve people, they should do it with full dedication, hard work and honesty. In meeting with 40-member delegation of PMS Probationers of Civil Service Training Programme he was briefed by Secretary Training and Monitoring S GA CD Rafiq Mustafa Shaikh. Governor said that proper use of authority will lead to solving problems. Currently, province is suffering from immense problems, from non-availability of basic facilities to solving daily problems, people are worried everywhere, while inflation has broken back of people.
He said that people have high expectations from their highly educated officers, I hope that you all will be messiah for people and day is not far when people will get basic facilities and justice at their doorstep.
On other hand, Governor congratulated Hindu community on festival of Holi. He said that Holi is festival of peace and joy, sharing, spring is welcomed by Holi. He said that Hindu community of province is performing significant services in fields of health, agriculture and trade. He said that Hindu community is celebrating its festival with traditional enthusiasm, holding special prayer events is proof of love of Hindu nation for motherland.
