KARAK: Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan termed alleged leaked audio tape of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz Sharif and other authorities shameful.

“A group of looters has been imposed on country through foreign conspiracy and he will never accept slavery of these thieves,” he addressed Karak’s charged crowd here.

“Maryam Nawaz is doing illegal work in current tenure, he said adding that she is getting personal benefits after coming into power and it is called corruption.  He said his government banned trade with India because India had broken international law, but coalition government was trying to reopen it.

On August 5, 2019, India government going against UN resolution repealed autonomous status of Kashmir, he lamented.

An audio recording of an alleged conversation, purportedly between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a government official, was leaked on social media on Saturday, with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders claiming that it shows PM putting his family’s business interests before those of state.

In a turn of events straight out of a spy movie, more purported audio clips featuring leaders of ruling coalition surfaced as opposition PTI questioned security of Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) while government maintained that there was “nothing illegal” in audio leaks.
