KHAIRPUR: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that a road map is needed for development of country’s economy. Talking to media during visit to flood-affected areas of Khairpur Nathan Shah he said that we need resources to develop, we have to examine what prevented success.

If diagnosis is wrong, treatment will also be wrong. If there is no continuity of policies in country, it will not be able to move forward. Ahsan Iqbal said that at this time everyone should participate in relief activities instead of getting involved in politics.

Although recent floods and torrential rains have cost country more than $ 30 billion, economy is capable of recovering from crisis. He said that budget of Rs 1,000 billion was left 4 years ago. What can be developed with Rs 700 billion? 10 days before coming of government, finance ministry had raised its hands.
