Road accident takes 8 lives in Rojhan

ROJHAN: Eight passengers were killed and two dozen others were injured when two buses collided here, rescue officials informed. According to details, road accident took place on Indus Highway’s Shah Wali spot, where two buses collided with each other due to dense fog. As result, eight persons were dead and 23 others sustained wounds. Bodies and injured were rushed to nearby hospital. Identity of deceased and injured passenger was yet to be ascertained.

Separately, seven people, including newly-wed couple died and five others sustained injuries when dumper hit vehicle in Jhelum. According to details, road accident occurred near Tobar Valley on Choa Saidan Shah Road where an out-of-control dumper truck ran over passenger car and hit several other vehicles.

Upon receiving information, rescue and police team reached on spot and shifted bodies and injured to nearby hospital.
