Return of flood affectees to native places starts, Sindh Police provides bus shuttle service

Karachi: After life situation returning to normal in Sindh, on directives of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon and DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, process of returning to homes of flood victims from residential camps of Karachi commenced.

Security Division started special shuttle bus service for flood victims on behalf of Sindh Police to transport them to their native areas. In first phase, 3 buses of Special Security Unit boarding more than 100 families were dispatched to districts of Mehar and Shahdadkot.

Ration and cash were distributed to victims by SSU and JDC respectively so that victims do not face any problem after returning home. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that return of flood victims to their homes is a happy event. Services of Sindh police are unforgettable in this difficult time. Sindh Police will continue its services till complete rehabilitation of victims.

Flood victims expressing their views said that in this difficult time Sindh police along with welfare organisations came forward and helped us in every possible way.
