Reports on lack of audit of SC financial records baseless, misleading: spokesperson

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has termed reports about non-conducting of audit of SC accounts since ten years baseless and misleading.

SC spokesperson has issued clarification on matter of summoning of SC registrar by Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in connection with SC audit saying audit of SC has been completed till 2021. Audit in respect of SC for period from 2021 to 2022 is underway. Confirmation about audit of SC can be made from Auditor General Pakistan. According to SC spokesperson information provided to PAC are not correct. –PPI
