After pictures and videos of Tunisha Sharma’s mother at funeral of late actor were widely shared online, her friend, actress Reem Sameer Shaikh went on Instagram and wrote message for media. During ceremony, her mother passed out and had to be helped out of room. Reem was upset that photos and videos were being shared, so she asked that Tunisha’s family be left alone.

She wrote on Instagram Stories, “Today as we lost smile, we lost someone so full of life leave us soon. It was heartbreaking to let her go. Being an actor, our life is an open book and while we appreciate fact that media has always been part of our highs and lows, we as human also deserve bit of privacy while dealing with an unbearable loss.”

“Tunisha’s mom who was grateful to media to spread her message, yet it was so disheartening to see same media capture mother in her worse and in an unconscious state who just lost her only child. It was boiling my blood to see during rituals also we were asked to give quotes and speak what we feel. No words can describe what I feel.”–Agencies
