LAHORE: Rangers deployed at Punjab Governor House Lahore in wake of daily protests and storming of building by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf workers. Rangers took responsibilities at Governor House.
Governor House administration wrote a letter to Punjab government and DG Rangers requesting them to provide more police force for security of Punjab Governor, his family and staff residing in house in aftermath of storming of building by PTI workers who are holding protests against gun attack on PTI Chairman Imran Khan. An angry mob on Friday held protest outside Governor House.
They tried to crash front gate on mall, burnt tyres, attempted to climb gate and vandalised CCTV cameras. Yesterday, PTI workers again staged protest outside Governor House. They were demanding registration of an FIR of Wazirabad shooting incident as per Imran Khan's wishes.
