ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed that denotification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s members of National Assembly will reduce political turmoil in country.
Reacting to acceptance of PTI MNAs’ resignations Rana Sanaullah said that government will welcome those PTI lawmakers whose resignations were not approved by NA Speaker. “NA Speaker takes decision for those people who are claiming to be prominent leaders and making claims in public regarding their resignations. If PTI believes that it is an unjust move then it should submit an affidavit to NA Speaker to withdraw their resignations.”
Sanaullah ruled out negative impression by approving MNAs’ resignations. He criticised that Imran Khan-led PTI is doing negative politics. He claimed that Speaker did not approve resignations of those MNAs who are not publically delivering statements about leaving their seats.
He said that PTI had delayed dissolution of Punjab Assembly for month to destabilise country. He added that PTI also tried to intensify instability by submitting their resignations in National Assembly. Election Commission of Pakistan has denotified more members of National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after NA Speaker accepted their resignations.
