FAISALABAD: Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah lambasted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan for pursuing ‘politics of hatred’ and ‘inciting people of Pakistan for attacking state institutions’.

Addressing an inauguration ceremony here, he said that previous rulers who according to him were imposed on country did nothing for nation, but ‘corruption and misleading country’s youth’. “During its three-and-a-half-year tenure, previous government only committed corruption and did not launch any development project in country”, Rana Sanaullah said, adding that previous rulers only created chaos which damaged country.

Referring to PTI Chief, Interior Minister said that ‘religious fanatic’ attacked former premier in Wazirabad, but “Latter blamed incumbent government”. “Suspect had bought pistol from Wazirabad three days before attack”, he claimed.

“Khan created hatred among people and country suffered loss”, he said, adding that they have never seen “such hatred in country before”. Rana recalled that he was arrested on “Spurious and mala fide” drugs case, saying that previous government only motive was to put entire opposition behind bars. “They even attacked and burnt monuments of martyrs,” he said, vowing that would be brought to justice.
