Rah-e-Junoon drama serial features an ensemble cast.

Produced by Moomal Productions, written by Rehana Aftab and directed by Ahmad Kamran includes Danish Taimoor, Komal Meer, Saba Faisal, Mehmood Aslam, Hiba Ali, Zain Afzal, Ali Tahir, Sabahat Adil, Hurriya Mansoor, Agha Talal, Farida Shabbir, Shahvaar Ali Khan, Durre Nayab in cast.  Drama viewers praised Shabrez and Mehar's chemistry. However, few drama buffs were not satisfied with incomplete conclusion of drama. They were of view that Shabrez's mother should have confessed her biggest wrongdoings. Social media user wrote, "Shabrez's mother should have admitted her sin of planning daughter in law's abortion". Another social media user wrote, "Shabrez's parents will be dealt harshly after death because of their biggest sin which they committed". Danish Taimoor's fans were excited for happy ending of his drama.
