RAWALPINDI: Former Interior Minister and Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said there was huge question mark over transparency of elections even before their announcement. 

In his statement on social media platform X veteran politician said economic stability would be achieved once there is political stability in country. “It is huge question mark who will rebuild economy,” Rasheed said.

He added that people represented state and country would prosper when general public would be satisfied economically. According to AML Chief, problems aren’t solved by arresting political opponents. Seasoned politician was of view that everyone would have to sit together to resolve economic crisis being faced by country. “Resentment is increasing and people are already fed up with current system. We’ll have to take our people on board in order to achieve economic stability,” he concluded.
