Queen Elizabeth, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch and nation’s figurehead for seven decades has died aged 96, Buckingham Palace said. British Prime Minister Liz Truss said, “Queen Elizabeth II was rock on which modern Britain was built. Our country has grown and flourished under her reign. Britain is great country it is today because of her.”

First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon viewed, “Death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth is a profoundly sad moment for UK, Commonwealth and world.  Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby narrated, “As we grieve together, we know that, in losing our beloved Queen, we have lost person whose steadfast loyalty, service and humility has helped us make sense of who we are through decades of extraordinary change in our world, nation and society.”

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres said, “As United Kingdom’s longest-lived and longest-reigning Head of State, Queen Elizabeth II was widely admired for her grace, dignity and dedication around world.  “I would like to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II for her unwavering, lifelong dedication to serving her people. world will long remember her devotion and leadership.” Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be remembered as a stalwart of our times.

She provided inspiring leadership to her nation and people. She personified dignity and decency in public life.  Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif said, “Deeply grieved at passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Pakistan joins UK and other Commonwealth nations in mourning her death. My heartfelt condolences to royal family, people and government of UK.” Canadian Prime Minister JustinTrudeau opined, “It was with heaviest of hearts that we learned of passing of Canada’s longest-reigning Sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “Our hearts and our thoughts go to family members of Queen, (go) to people of United Kingdom.

US Senate Republican leader Mitch Mcconnell viewed, “For 70 long years, from aftermath of World War II well into 21st century, across 15 different Prime Ministers, through great triumphs and great challenges, Queen’s steady leadership safeguarded land she loved.  European Council President Charles Michel said, “Our thoughts are with royal family and all those who mourn Queen Elizabeth II in UK and worldwide. Once called Elizabeth Steadfast, she never failed to show us importance of lasting values in a modern world with her service and commitment.”

EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell said, “Queen Elizabeth IL remarkable reign oversaw key events of 20th and 21st century. EU pays tribute to her unique contribution to building peace and reconciliation. While her loss will be felt around world. Dutch King Willem-Alexander narrated, “We remember Queen Elizabeth II with deep respect and great affection. Steadfast and wise, she dedicated her long life to serving British people.  The Royal House of Norway expressed, “Royal Family is deeply saddened to receive news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away.” German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said, “Queen Elizabeth II is a woman who shaped century. She witnessed and written contemporary history.” German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said, “She was a source of strength and confidence to her country for almost 100 years. Germany will remain eternally grateful to her for reaching out to us for reconciliation after terror of World War II.”

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said, “Queen Elizabeth was a major player in world history over last seventy years. She represented United Kingdom and Commonwealth with balance, wisdom, respect for institutions and democracy.  French President Emmanuel Macron said, “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II embodied British nation’s continuity and unity for over 70 years.  Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala viewed, “I am deeply saddened by death of Her Majesty Queen, Elizabeth II. Sending heartfelt and sincere condolences to Royal family and British people and people of Commonwealth.” Polish President Andrzej Duda said, “My deepest condolences to Royal Family and all British people on passing of Her Majesty Queen. For decades she has been an embodiment of everything that makes Britain truly great.  United Arab Emirates Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, “We join world in mourning passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, a global icon who represented finest qualities of her nation and people. 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskity said, “It is with deep sadness that we learned of death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On behalf of UAE people, we extend sincere condolences to @RoyalFamily, entire United Kingdom and Commonwealth over this irreparable loss. 

Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo said, “People of Gibraltar will mourn Her Majesty as a monarch who has reigned wisely and with incomparable dedication throughout period of our post-war emergence.
