Punjab govt will robustly guard PTI’s long march, says CM Elahi

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that issues of people should be resolved in any case and providing relief to public is their top priority. Chairman Chief Minister Complaint Cell Punjab Zubair Ahmad Khan called on Punjab CM here. During meeting, Zubair Ahmad Khan presented report on which Pervaiz Elahi emphasised on necessary steps for immediate redressal of public grievances.

In this regard, Chief Minister Punjab said that problems of people should be resolved in any case and it is their top priority to resolve problems of people of Rawalpindi. Ongoing development projects in Rawalpindi will be completed. We have been serving people and will continue to do so, he added.

Furthermore, Elahi also condoled death of Zubair Ahmad Khan’s sister-in-law and recited Fatiha and prayed for forgiveness for deceased. Chief Secretary Abdullah Khan Sumbal was also present in meeting.

Pervaiz Elahi speaking to media here said that Punjab government will protect Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan ahead of his long march towards capital. He responding to a question about what PTI long march is to achieve said, You will see full well what march has achieved in coming few days Look at faces of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders, he continued, They look like destroyed field so that should be sign enough of what their situation actually is.
