LAHORE: Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz okayed housing scheme for low-income class in six cities of province. Decision was taken in meeting chaired by Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz here. During meeting, Punjab’s Chief Executive directed authorities concerned for site selection for housing schemes in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha and Rawalpindi.

She directed officials to ensure all aspects regarding facilitation of masses while selecting sites for housing schemes in aforesaid six cities of province for low-income class.

On March 18, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved decision in principle to start metro bus project in three cities of Punjab.She gave this approval while chairing meeting.PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif was also present in meeting. Meeting reviewed transport sector projects in Lahore. CM also sought plan for an underground train project in Lahore.
