ISLAMABAD: For the third time, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan revised schedule of long march as now march will be resumed on Thursday.
Expressing his thoughts, while meeting with delegation of journalists, Imran slammed bigwigs of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples' Party, saying that it is not possible to go for compromise with Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.
Talking about his long march, Imran said that march would only be ended, after 'achieving its destination' and by getting date of elections as the entire nation is geared up. Imran stated soldiers, who are performing their national duties at borders are like his sons.
Giving his take over appointment of Army Chief, Imran said, "I have no issue with appointment of COAS as Pak Army belongs to us and it is not possible to go against Army."
Former premier and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf supremo Imran Khan said that he does not need to accuse people to gain more popularity.
In an exclusive interview with CNN after his survival from an assassination attempt during long march in Wazirabad, PTI Chief, while responding to a question regarding three nominated accused, said that a plot was made months ago to kill him by using religious extremism, adding that he already told people that reason for execution in one of his addresses.
“Why is matter being covered up after this attack? Why is there no independent investigation, three people, including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah are involved in attack,” asked Imran.
PTI Chairman added that he has also appealed to CJP Bandial to form a commission for inquiry, adding that if he is wrong, then commission should prove him wrong. “I’m pretty sure I was attacked with planning,” he added. “I was in power for more than three years, I have contacts with people in various intelligence services, from whom I was informed about attack,” said Imran Khan.
