Peshawar: Yet again Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Muhammad Khan was arrested for second time immediately after being released from Peshawar Central Jail. Arrest took place following court order from Peshawar High Court (PHC) for release of Ali Muhammad Khan, who had been arrested on charges related to May 9 incidents.

Earlier today, after submitting surety bond worth Rs 0.1 million to deputy commissioner PTI leader released from central jail. However, as he stepped out of jail premises, Mardan police swiftly took him back into custody. High Court’s decision to release Ali Muhammad Khan came after his legal team filed petition challenging legality of his detention. Court ruled in his favour, ordering his immediate release.

Nevertheless, police taking him back into custody before he could leave premises. Following his arrest, Ali Muhammad Khan was transferred to Mardan, where police intend to conduct further investigations into allegations against him.
