PTI top brass demands to remove PM Shehbaz, Sanaullah

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) top brass yesterday demanded to remove Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah from their posts, following assassination attempt on former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Wazirabad.

Former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior leader Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter and went on to say that meeting of PTI’s top brass was ended, during which doctors apprised PTI leadership of details related to operation of Imran Khan. Fawad added that leadership, during meeting strongly condemned assassination attempt on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief. He penned, “According to initial details, assassins who attempted assassination on PTI’s container were more than one.  Meeting also reviewed background of this attack with details and termed this as a ‘planned conspiracy’. 

Masterminds of attack include Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah among others.” Fawad said that meeting expressed its reservation over role of Punjab IG and demanded his immediate replacement. Meeting also praised PTI worker for embracing martyrdom and heroics of Ibtisam for stopping accused from firing, he added.
