ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to challenge nomination of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab and acceptance of resignations of its 43 Members of National Assembly (MNAs) in Supreme Court (SC).

According to sources Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has completed consultation process to approach SC in respect of important matters.

A petition has been worked out against appointment of Caretaker CM Punjab. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has accorded formal approval to text of petition. Election Commission of Pakistan will be made respondent in petition against appointment of caretaker CM Punjab.

Alleged plea bargaining of Mohsin Naqvi with NAB will be made part of case. Text of different programmes of Mohsin Naqvi in private TV channel will be made part of petition.

As per sources SC will be approached after notification issued by EC on denotifying 43 MNAs of PTI is received.
