PTI sends defamation notice of Rs10bn to Khawaja Asif

LAHORE: PTI has sent defamation notice of Rs 10 billion to Khawaja Asif for leveling allegation of selling PTI tickets against Imran Khan. Notice has been sent by PTI leader Usman Dar.

Notice said Khawaja Asif had leveled allegation against Imran Khan in Sialkot that he had sold out PTI tickets. Fabricated allegation has also been leveled for collecting Rs 300 million against sale of tickets.

According to notice Khawaja Asif leveled fabricated and baseless allegations against ticket holder of Sialkot. He leveled baseless charges against Imran Khan and party leaders directly in press conference.

Through notice Khawaja Asif has been asked to apologise in writing to chairman PTI on his baseless allegations.  He should get publish apology in leading newspapers of country. In event of non-tendering apology Khawaja Asif should pay damage amount to tune of Rs 30 billion. Legal proceedings will be initiated against Khawaja Asif if he fails to tender apology or pay damage.
