Former Prime Minister held a meeting of district presidents and secretaries of his party’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab wings, wherein he issued strict instructions to officials for upcoming march.
He directed them to ensure full participation of people and advised them to consider “real freedom” as “jihad”. He added that if they do not get “real freedom” now, they might never get it at all. “We have certainly held big rallies, but now even grassroots leadership has to work hard,” he added. “Work hard on eight National Assembly and three Punjab Assembly seats on October 16.” Imran said that succeeding in Punjab is necessary for “real freedom” and to save provincial government. He directed provincial leadership to focus all its attention on by-elections before long march. Following former premier’s directives, party officials assured him of their complete efforts.
