ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has requested Islamabad High Court (IHC) to dismiss case against him pertaining to matter of not showing his alleged daughter in nomination papers. Imran Khan made this request in his elementary reply filed by him in IHC in his disqualification case in matter of not showing his alleged daughter in nomination papers. PTI Chairman while praying court to dismiss case against him took plea he has quit National Assembly as member, therefore, petition against him is not maintainable.
He said in his reply IHC cannot hear this case. It is pertinent to mention citizen Sajid has presented his stance in IHC that Imran Khan provided wrong information while filing nomination papers. He made mention of two children in details of his children and concealed information about his daughter. Husnain counsel for petitioner while referring to documents said court can see this matter. Imran Khan has always denied that he has any daughter. We have sought verified copy of what affidavit he filed in California and presented it to chief justice. He pleaded as affidavit which was sent was prepared in Lahore therefore, Pakistani court can hear this case.
