KARACHI: President Karachi, Raja Azhar, stated, "Our workers and I were unlawfully arrested, and now we are facing court hearings.

False FIRs have been registered against us, but soon, by the will of Allah, this oppressive system will come to an end. We will not forget these injustices. This is not democracy; it is a dictatorship imposed upon us, but it will not last long. We assure our workers that this party stood with you, stands with you, and will always stand with you. We will cleanse the police force of corrupt elements, and those police officers who operate unjustly and above the law will also be held accountable soon. The way I was treated—despite being a respectable citizen, a political worker, and a former member of the provincial assembly—has been captured on video and witnessed by the media. This raises the question: how are ordinary citizens treated? I am grateful to those who condemned the injustice done to me. Imran Khan has taught us to follow the law and raise our voices against undue oppression and injustice, and we will continue to do so."
