LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Quaid central leader Moonis Elahi confirmed that strategy to dissolve Punjab Assembly was finalised in his meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan.

Moonis Elahi and Imran Khan have finalised strategy to dissolve Punjab Assembly during consultative meeting held at Khan’s Zaman Park residence. Moonis visited Khan’s residence where he attended an important consultative meeting.

After attending meeting, PML-Q central leader confirmed in Twitter message that he devised strategy to dissolve Punjab Assembly with Imran Khan.

He added every effort of ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement will fail to stop organisation of fresh elections. Moonis claimed that Imran Khan will win next elections.

After consultative session, Fawad Chaudhry asserted that his party and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid would thwart opposition’s attempt to oust Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi through no-confidence motion.

Speaking to journalists here, he said that PTI and PML-Q are and will always remain allies, vowing to thwart opposition’s attempt to oust Punjab Chief Minister through no-confidence motion.

He noted that meeting of PTI’s legal committee was held, attended by PML-Q leaders, including Moonis Elahi. “We are and will always remain allies,” he said, adding that both parties would fight no-confidence motion.

Fawad Chaudhry also lambasted Pakistan Democratic Movement for ‘running away’ from general elections, saying that they don’t have courage to face public. “Government does not have enough money to buy oil to generate electricity”, he added.
