LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has said statement given by Shahbaz GILL has caused damage instead of giving benefit and PTI leadership should distance itself from his statement. “Imran Khan, PTI and we are with Armed Forces. We will not allow any one to achieve  political motives by maligning our armed forces. Shahbaz Gill statement has caused damage instead of giving any benefit. PTI leadership should distance itself from Shahbaz Gill statement, he said this in a statement and during his talks with a private TV channel here yesterday. He said Armed Forces are guarantor for safeguarding our borders and they are our pride. Only anti Pakistan elements can propagate against armed forces. Whosoever talks against Armed Forces should be declared enemy of Islam and Pakistan.

PML-N is launching a false and baseless propaganda. False propaganda is being unleashed from PML-N media cell, he remarked. He held Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited flood affected areas while he had already sent IG and chief secretary. I said to  Chief secretary whatever announcement is made by PM, we have to implement it too. Shehbaz Sharif had appointed IG and chief secretary. I had owned them. Now there was some compulsion of chief secretary due to which he is  going. Have  I taken any revengeful action against bureaucracy so far, he questioned.

He indicated all men were appointed by PM in past and I had not removed them. I have not to waste time. He underlined why we have not to  give security to Imran Khan. PTI government is in place in Punjab and Punjab has more than 70 percent share. Islamabad share is very small.

About Shahbaz Gill he said I Shahbaz Gill that it was very bad thing. It is statement of Imran Khan whosoever is against army can not be Pakistani. Therefore, PTI leadership should distance itself from Shahbaz Gill statement. I have given statement against Shahbaz Gill, he said adding I have said who is he to tell and implement our policy.

I know every vein of PML-N, he remarked. They all are new comers. Political rivalry will continue to run. No tension  will be seen on provincial and national interest. I have to do way Imran Khan will say, he held. To a question he said no talks have been held with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
