ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Vice Chairperson Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Secretary General Asad Umar had ‘Breakfast meeting’ with diplomatic corps in Islamabad.

Meeting was organised by High Commissioner of Australia in Pakistan Neil Hawkins. Apart from senior leaders of PTI, ambassadors of European and Muslim countries posted in Pakistan participated in meeting. Qureshi said that meeting discussed regional and overall political situation of country and conducting of transparent elections as per schedule.

Participants were also informed of former ruling party’s approach to elimination of atmosphere of political instability in country. Qureshi also expressed his gratitude to Hawkins for organising banquet and meeting.

Both leaders informed the envoys about the PTI’s demand for transparent elections as per schedule and bringing the atmosphere of ongoing political instability in the country to an end. “We are deeply grateful to the Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins for organising this breakfast meeting,” Qureshi added.
