PTI granted conditional permission for Islamabad rally

ISLAMABAD:  Islamabad district administration has granted conditional permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold rally on September 8, with strict condition that no sit-in will be allowed.

In official notification, administration outlined an approved route plan and issued 41 conditions for event. Separate routes have been designated for attendees arriving from different regions. Workers coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab via Motorway will have specific route, while different path has been laid out for those using GT Road from Punjab. Additionally, distinct routes have been established for participants traveling from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Murree. Rally is scheduled to begin at 4pm and will conclude at 7pm.  Administration stated that basic rights of citizens must be respected throughout event and under no circumstances will sit-ins be permitted. Permission is strictly limited to September 8 and organisers are required to ensure that all participants return home same night.
