Rawalpindi: Four-member delegation led by Barrister Gohar Ali Khan met with founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan at Adiala Jail to discuss political situation, party matters and ongoing legal cases.

Delegation included Advocate Intizar Panjhota, Niazullah Niazi, Aziz Bhandari and Sameer Khosa. Meeting held in conference room of Adiala Jail, lasted over an hour and covered topics such as cases against PTI leaders and cancellation of PTI’s Islamabad Jalsa. Additionally, strategies to secure favourable Supreme Court decision on reserved seats were discussed. Following meeting, PTI delegation left without speaking to media. Concurrently, Aleema Khan, sister of former prime minister, visited him in Adiala Jail. Their discussions focused on his health, family matters and his pending legal cases.  Meanwhile, Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has dismissed interim bail requests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan in three cases. Judge Khalid Arshad announced reserved judgment, which was initially deliberated on July 6, following arguments presented by lawyers. Cases in question include Jinnah House attack involving PTI founder. Prior to announcing decision, Judge Khalid Arshad inquired about presence of Imran Khan’s lawyers. It was reported that Salman Safdar was in Islamabad, and his junior lawyer, Abdullah, was initially present but later absent from courtroom. Judge instructed prosecution to contact counsel representing PTI founder. He remarked that short verdict would be announced immediately, with detailed verdict to be issued following morning (Wednesday).
