ISLAMABAD: PTI leader and ex-MNA parted his ways with party Chairman Imran Khan as more and more PTI leaders dissociate themselves from party following an outrage over acts of violence witnessed on May 9 after arrest of Imran Khan.

Addressing press conference here along with PPP's Faisal Karim Kundi, Dr. Haider Ali, former member of National Assembly belonging to PTI, announced quitting party and joining PPP. Welcoming Haider in PPP, Kundi said that Imran had always lied to nation. Former PTI MNA reportedly had held two meetings with Pakistan Peoples' Party leadership.

Haider who had been elected MNA from Swat-II in general elections of 2018 by securing 61,687 votes remained an MNA until January 2023. Meanwhile, PTI former MNA Ayesha Gulalai announced joining Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid.  Ayesha Gulalai holding press conference with PML-Q head Chaudhry Shujaat and Chaudhry Sarwar said Chaudhry Shujaat always held Pakistan's security and integrity supreme. “Today I am taking discipleship of Chaudhry Shujaat,” she said.
