ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has labeled action taken against Lieutenant General (retd) Faiz Hameed as an internal matter of Pakistan Army. Former Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence, Faiz Hameed, was recently taken into military custody, and field court martial process has been initiated against him.

In response, PTI Chairman’s legal representative Barrister Gohar, emphasised that military’s actions are strictly internal. He stated that Pakistan Army is disciplined and organised institution with its own procedures for dealing with both serving and retired officers. He further added that Army’s internal actions cannot be questioned by external entities.
