PTI Chief twisting facts on Wazirabad incident: Sanaullah

Lahore: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of twisting facts surrounding assassination attempt on its Chief Imran Khan in Wazirabad on November 3 last year.
Addressing press conference here Sanaullah claimed that former premier did not receive bullet injuries in attack and also rubbished his claims that three shooters were present at scene. His statement came day after PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that JIT constituted to probe assassination attempt on Imran found that there was planned attempt to assassinate former Prime Minister in Wazirabad attack.
Sanaullah said only one alleged shooter Naveed was present at scene who he said is religious fanatic. He said Punjab government could implicate other accused in Wazirabad case. Sanaullah said that country was reeling from economic crisis due to flawed policies of previous Imran-led government. “He sold all items of Tosha Khana while country suffered from economic crisis due to Imran Khan’s policies. False cases were made against opponents.” Sanaullah said that Imran Khan’s politics is based on anti-nationalism and he will bring this to country if came into power again. He emphasised on need for political stability in order to stabilise country’s economy. He clarified that government will hold no talks with any person or outfit involved in terrorism.
