PTI Chief turns guns towards PML-N, says it left country in historical deficit

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that two political families had plundered country for 30 years. Addressing party workers on matter of White Paper via video link, he expressed his concern over current situation, saying that he feared direction in which country was going.
Recalling that there was no example of what happened in last eight months and adding, considering situation, 700,000 people left country.
Talking about exports, Khan said there was dire need to solve problems of exporters, claiming that PML-N left country in historical deficit, questioning how country can be transformed into an ‘Asian Tiger’ and ‘Paris’ for Lahore if exporters were not considered important. Giving his thoughts on International Monetary Fund Imran Khan stated that approaching IMF would cause country discomfort, adding that if country received loans from IMF, it would be difficult to make independent decisions. He slammed coalition government, saying those involved in activities such as money laundering were now teaching country lesson. He gave reference of economic survey, saying that after 17 years, it was his government that delivered for country with perfection. Talking about NSC meeting held yesterday, Khan said that he came to know that it was decided in huddle to impose ban on taking greenback abroad. Khan expressed concern about inflation, saying, “Prices of flour, onions, tomatoes, ghee, pulses, petroleum products and power have increased by up to 200 percent.”
Speaking on textile sector, he said, 1.5 million people were left unemployed in field of textile sector, adding that in his tenure, there was lack of availability of labourers in textile sector. He also expressed his concern over depreciation of rupees against dollar.
